I did meditation this morning and I found it relaxing and easy to get into. I loved the idea of my thoughts being clouds in the sky, and interestingly, I could clearly picture where on my head my ideas come in and go out. Where they come in, is often where my headache starts when I get them!! (The body is so clever! And I’m in constant awe at how wonderfully it always tries to do its best by me).

As someone with chronic pain and fatigue but with a history of frequent meditation (including silent retreats) I’ve shifted away from meditation as I’m worried about what pain will come up or get worse. Today I’ve proved to myself that I can sit, again, for 5 mins. And I wasn’t in more pain, my nervous system feels physically calmer.

Thank you so much for sharing 🧡

Intrigued by your silent retreats, how did you find the experience? I’m booked in for one in May that my boyf really wants to attend. I’m a huge fan of retreats, meditation, yoga etc but I am not overly enamoured with the thought of this retreat (in some ways because we are camping and a week feels a long time😆).

This was absolutely amazing! I’ve never really tried meditation and this is something I’m going to start adding to my morning.

Thank you so much!🌸

I love the breathing into the hips, I’ve been practicing this alot since your last one. Also, couldn’t stop breathing in the peace and exhaling what I wanted to let go of - even though I know my body is holding on (to the story). Hopeful this weekends full moon will be helpful in truly letting go - the intention has been repeatedly affirmed in any case.

Feel lovely after this short meditation. I often find thoughts challenging to be with/aware of. Especially when I am not feeling quite sure of myself like this week. One to practice!

Thank you for all you share with us 🙏🩵✨

Thank you so much Amber! I might do some more breathe work actually, thanks for the inspiration. Maybe try breathing in what you want to let go of. Sometimes, making space for it in the body first and acceptinng it can help in letting go. ❤️🌸
