Detaching from our thoughts [Meditation for chronic illness folks #16]

In this 5 minute meditation we observe our thoughts instead of becoming them and start our morning without mindless distractions (this meditation is without music)

Hi friend!

I often wake up with my mind cluttered from last night’s dreams or old thoughts still stuck in my mind. As I only have twenty minutes worth of brain-time a day I really need my mind to be at least somewhat clear (neuroinflammation will never allow it to be completely clear) and free of energy-sucking distractions. Instead of trying to force my thoughts away, I create a sky-mind to detach from mental chatter and to come back in to the present moment.

So in today’s meditation we will detach from our thoughts and find a sense of calm.

How did it go?
