Moving from judgment to inner calm [Meditation for chronic illness folks #14]

In this 8 minute meditation we let go of the constant chatter of judgment within us and instead find a deeper sense of calm (this meditation is without music)

Hi friend!

A few months ago, I found that I was spending an excessive amount of energy on judging and evaluating: Is this good or bad? Is what I said good or bad? Is what I did good or bad? It fired up my nervous system as well, and I felt wired.

There is nothing wrong with evaluating and judging your or others’ actions and words but it can get excessive, and it can waste our energy. We want to bring out our inner judge when the time is right and when we decide — not when we’re trying to find calm and peace, or when we’re just going about our day.

So in today’s meditation we will let go of judgment and find a deeper sense of inner calm.

How did it go?

How did you find this meditation?

Was it easy to let go of judgment and find calm?
