Instant relief reset [Meditation for chronic illness folks #15]

In this 2 minute meditation we find instant relief from worrying and reset our focus to come back to the present moment (this meditation is without music)

Hi friend!

I sometimes find myself slipping into worry-mode or having anxious thoughts about the future. These are realistic worries, not catastrophising, but they also don’t help me in any way. Anxious thoughts contract my brain’s energy and they waste it too. I will allow myself to worry sometimes when I have the energy to feel the fear without it taking over my entire being. Or when I have the energy to do some planning to counteract the worrying (if it’s possible). But most days, I prefer to move into the present moment — this is most comfortable for me. This meditation is a part of my daily toolkit to get back into the present moment whenever my mind wonders towards worrying.

So in today’s meditation we will find instant relief from worrying and get back into the present moment.
